To sum up, this was our holidays....
-lots of time with family
-lots of presents
-a week vacation to Missouri to see family/Branson
-lots of nice homemade meals
-lots of relaxing
Well, I could say more but that is pretty much sums it up. I know it sounds corny, but being around family is better than any gift. We returned from our trip last Friday. Saturday it was freezing rain out but we didn't have any groceries, so we made a crazy, scary trip to the store then spent the rest of the day inside! Our boys have another cousin that was born Saturday night. I had a lovely lunch with some girlfriends Sunday and we took a little shopping trip in the afternoon. My husband is back at work today from having 12 days off.
Currently, my oldest is chasing around daddy while he tries to eat on his lunch break. I'm catching up on laundry and the pile of clothes that has needed to be folded for days. My youngest just woke up from a 3 hour nap that he decided to start taking from 9:45-12:45 instead of in the afternoon when my almost 3 year old sleeps, which has proven better for our schedule than I thought. I have the whole morning with just my oldest and the whole afternoon with my youngest. Speaking of the boys, my oldest turns 3 in a few weeks! Yes, I know, I can't believe it! I'm crying just talking about it.
I'm excited for the New Year and all the possibilities that this year will bring. It is only January 5th and we've already been blessed in our lives with new doors and opportunities. I hope you celebrate the new year also and that you look forward to what the year can bring to your life.

Summer I love your blog! It's fun to read about your adventures with your two boys- I relate! Happy New Year!

Branson is always a great place to go to for family vacations! The Branson hotels have great vacation packages available too.
