My oldest and his cousin are 5 weeks apart. My son was born in February 2006, his girl cousin "Ree" was born in March 2006. They have basically grown up together and hit all their "milestones" around the same time, which has created this close knit bond between them.
We are blessed to live about 20 minutes away from my brother/sister-in-law. So we often get the cousins together for play times and family meals. My oldest loves his cousin, her nickname is Ree. They both will turn 3 in the next few weeks/month. It has been such a blessing for us and him and also my 1-year old. I'm grateful to be close to family and to be able to give my boys the opportunity to be close with our family. I grew up living next to my cousins and those are memories I'll never forget.

They always get matching gifts at Christmas because they want to play with them together. This year they got art easels. This is at my parent's house on Christmas day.
I think this picture is hilarious! This is them waiting to open presents at Christmas while our 1-year old opens gifts. They were so patient but so bored at the same time!
