My mother-in-law came to visit over the weekend. We had a birthday celebration on Saturday. We celebrated 3 family birthdays (my dads, my sons, and my husbands). We had a nice party and invited only family this time around since we were doing all three at the same time. My husband also had a big superbowl party last night, about 20-25 people were there. It was pretty much come and go which worked out better. A couple people stayed for the whole thing though so it was a fun full weekend.
We are gearing up for another week ahead of us. We have a retreat this weekend (kind of like a youth rally for college students). We're looking forward to that! We have become very grateful for our friends and being able to work with them, spend time with them, and have a common purpose with them. I'm humbled everyday to have such great friends and family!

ReplyDeleteHow fun! Happy birthday to all. Give your dad a hug for me. Is the little girl in the picture Noah's little girl? Enjoy your retreat. My parents are coming down & taking the girls for an overnighter which will be fun. I like those times for them & also for me because it makes me realize just how much they complete my life.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sure to give him a hug for you! Yeah, that is Noah and Kara's little girl. She is only 1 month younger than my oldest...did that make any sense? Your right, weekends like that are nice but I'll sure miss the boys!
