The Alphabet can be Confusing

My oldest son turned 3 on Sunday. He is such a little boy now instead of a toddler (those of you who are parents know what I mean:) As I mentioned before, he reads a lot. He knows his alphabet, can write some letters, but has been having trouble with a couple of them.

For example, he writes his R and K but sometimes says the wrong one when you ask him what it is. He also confuses M and N. I was working with him early this morning with his letters and I came to the conclusion that the alphabet is kinda tricky. R and K are kinda the same when you write them. Now, I know what you're thinking, I'm just saying that because he confuses them....which is true. But still! Whoever made the alphabet really didn't have a 3 year old in mind who is trying to write his letters:)

I also love that the boys will sit and read together even at this age (3 and 1). Also, I can't believe I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old....if only they would stop growing up!
